Monday June 3 2019 a workshop on Open Access was held at the library. Keynote speakers were Colleen Campbell, OA2020 Partner Development at the Max Planck Digital Library, München and Michael Svendsen from The Royal Danish Library.

40 librarians and staff of research services from Icelandic universities attended the workshop which was organized and funded by the Information literacy group of the university libraries.
