02.02.2023

On February 2nd, a seminar was held in the National Library's lecture hall on the Drama Society SÁL (Association of people interested in theatre education). The forum was held in conjunction with an ongoing exhibition in the Library displaying photos and documents that the students and teachers of the school gave to the Theatre Museum of Art for safekeeping on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the school of SÁL, which was a remarkable institution, a drama school founded and run by the students themselves, in the period 1972-1975. Pioeneering work took place there and behind the scenes an ongoing struggle of the students for new methods in drama teaching and a state-run drama school.
