Frá skruddum til skýja – Research in library and information science is the name of the conference of newly graduated master’s students in library and information science. The conference is an annual event organised by the Library and Information Science programme in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Iceland. A wide range of talks is on the programme, and this time 12 speakers present their research in the field of library and information work.

Research like this plays an important part in development and innovation and adds steadily  to the field’s pool of knowledge. It gives Icelandic society and business valuable knowledge that can benefit public bodies and private companies alike.
