On 22 August a cooperation agreement was signed with the Icelandic Literature Center (Miðstöð íslenskra bókmennta), with the aim of collecting the fullest possible information on the publication of Icelandic literature in languages other than Icelandic and ensuring access to it. The Center gives the Library a copy of each book that receives a translation grant, and the Library ensures their preservation and access to them, and also enters bibliographic information on them in Gegnir, so that a wide range of information on translations can be extracted.
