School of Humanities and the Library present e-book subscriptions

Over the past year, students and teachers at the University of Iceland have gained much wider access to e-books. This is mostly thanks to agreements made on the initiative of the School of Humanities: funding the School received from the University’s Centenary Fund, which is granted to strengthen research infrastructure, has been used to open access to large e-book collections from many of the world’s leading publishers. Agreements have been made with Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press and Taylor & Francis, among others.

To mark these new agreements, the National and University Library of Iceland and the UI School of Humanities invite you to an open presentation in the lecture hall of Þjóðarbókhlaða, the library building at Arngrímsgata 3, on Friday 28 February, 13:00–14:00.

All welcome!
