EndNote course, Thursday 5 February

On Thursday 5 February, 12:00–13:00, the National and University Library of Iceland will offer University of Iceland students and staff a course in the reference management program EndNote.

The course will show how to enter references in EndNote by hand and how to import them from databases such as leitir.is, Ebsco, ProQuest and Web of Science. It will also cover how to insert citations (in the text as well as in footnotes) directly from EndNote and how the program sets out a reference list in all the main styles.

The EndNote software can be downloaded free of charge (with instructions) in Ugla, under Computer services – Software. It is best to have EndNote installed before the course begins. If you run into any problems with the installation, please contact the University’s Computing Services (Reiknistofnun).

The teacher is Erlendur Már Antonsson, information specialist at the National and University Library of Iceland.
