Rent the lecture hall

Requests are handled on weekdays, 9:00–16:00.
Rental prices follow the Library’s fees.

The lecture hall Lón is on the 2nd floor and seats up to 80 people. It can be rented during the Library’s opening hours: winter hours / summer hours. The hall has open Wi-Fi, a projector with HDMI/USB-C connections and a sound system. Renters bring their own laptop. Please note that the Library provides neither streaming nor catering; for those, renters must turn to outside providers. Renters may serve refreshments connected with their event, both inside the hall and outside it.

If the renter is a company or institution, it is sent an invoice. Everyone else pays the rent on arrival at the service desk on the 2nd floor. Enquiries can be sent to landsbokasafn (at) landsbokasafn.is
