Among the events of Culture Night on 18 August 2018 was the micro-exhibition Frummynd/fjölfeldi (Original/Multiple) in the Culture House, Hverfisgata 15.
The exhibition, with original works and artists’ books by the artists Halla Birgisdóttir, Ólöf Björk Ingólfsdóttir and Steinunn Önnudóttir, will be open until Monday 27 August.
The event is the first in the programme of the art book publisher In volumes in the Culture House reading room in the winter of 2018–19. Artists’ books and book art will be celebrated, and new or little-known works brought into the light.
The event is a cooperation with the National Museum of Iceland, the publisher Rasspotín and the National and University Library of Iceland, on the occasion of the Library’s special exhibition Bókverk (Artists’ Books), on show in the Culture House.
