Information searching session

The National and University Library of Iceland is holding a session on information searching in the meeting room of Þjóðarbókhlaða, the library building at Arngrímsgata 3, on Thursday 29 January, 12:00–13:00. The session is held in cooperation with the School of Humanities Writing Centre.

There will be demonstrations of Leitir.is and the journal list Finna tímarit (Find journals), with an emphasis on different techniques for searching databases. The Library’s website and services will also be presented.

We encourage all university students to take this opportunity, not least those who are writing their final theses and expect to spend long hours searching for sources of various kinds.

The course is open to everyone, but you need to register HERE.
