To mark the move of Leikminjasafn Íslands (the Icelandic Theatre Museum) to Þjóðarbókhlaða, the library building at Arngrímsgata 3, and the National Museum of Iceland, a reception was held in Þjóðarbókhlaða on Friday 8 March. The speakers went over the history of Leikminjasafn, how work on its collections is organised today, and how they see the next steps. Talks were given by National Librarian Ingibjörg Steinunn Sverrisdóttir, Margrét Hallgrímsdóttir and Lilja Árnadóttir from the National Museum of Iceland, Ólafur J. Engilbertsson, Marín Árnadóttir, Halldóra Kristinsdóttir, and Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir, chair of the board of Leikminjasafn.
