The Icelandic Web Archive
The archive preserves most Icelandic content published on the web. All Icelandic domains are collected several times a year, in addition to more frequent collections of dynamic and newsworthy content. The content can be viewed on the website Vefsafn.is .
Foreign web archives and information
The preservation of web content is a multinational project, and the National Library of Iceland is an active participant in it. This work is carried out through various collaborative projects and the library's membership in the International Internet Preservation Consortium .
