
On Tuesday, October 26, the museum hosted a symposium to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of writer Fyodor Dostoevsky and Russia's chairmanship of the Arctic Council. The photo exhibition "The Russian Arctic" was opened, lectures were given, and a documentary was shown.
This event was part of the Days of Russian Culture in Iceland, which focused on Arctic culture; geography, history, literature, and culture of Russia, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland.
