Publications
The library has over the years produced several publications in connection with events and exhibitions held at the National and University Library. The journal Ritmennt was published annually until 2006, when it ceased publication. Older volumes can be purchased from the museum.

Publications
Ritmennt: annual report of the National and University Library of Iceland was a magazine that succeeded the Yearbook and was published from 1996 to 2005. The publication can be accessed at Tímarit.is here . Copies of the publication can still be purchased from the library.
The Yearbook of the National Library of Iceland was published annually from 1945 to 1994. The yearbooks can be accessed on the website Tímarit.is, the first series here (1945-1975) and the second series here (1975-1994).
