The Nordic Information Network Gender (NING) group met at its annual meeting at the National Library on May 21. The Nordic countries take turns hosting the meeting, and the Icelandic Women's History Museum and the Office for Equal Opportunities organized the meeting this year. The meeting was last held in Iceland in 2011, also at the National Library. 

NIKK – The Nordic Gender Equality Information and Knowledge Centre (Nordisk Information för Kunskap om Kön) has been bringing together representatives of women's history museums and information centres in the Nordic countries for annual meetings since 1998, and the Icelandic Gender Equality Museum has participated since then. Members of the NING group are: Jafnréttisstofa (IS), Kilden (NO), Icelandic Women's History Museum (IS), KvinnSam (SE), KVINFO (DK), Jämställdhet – Centret för jämställdhetsinformation (FI), and the National Secretariat for Gender Research (SE).
