The book exhibition Bibliotek Nordica, a group exhibition of 82 A6-sized books by 84 Nordic artists, opened on May 17, 2021 at the National Library of Iceland. Twelve Icelandic artists have works in the exhibition, which has been held in six countries over the past two years. The project is organized by the art group Codex Polaris and curated by Imi Maufe in collaboration with Megan Adie and Bent Kvisgaard. The goal of Bibliotek Nordica is to create an easily accessible collection of Nordic books that can be used as a reference in contemporary literary history and at the same time create a network of connections between the Nordic countries. The exhibition runs until Sunday, August 22. Open weekdays 9 am-5 pm. Closed Saturdays and Sundays. More information about events related to the exhibition will be announced later.
