The Latvian Ambassador to Norway and Iceland, Martins Klive, visited the museum and presented a book donation in collaboration with the Latvian Ministry of Culture to commemorate the centenary of the recognition of the Republic of Latvia. Edda G. Björgvinsdóttir accepted the donation in the absence of the National Librarian. The books in question are in English about Latvia, its history and culture.
