Sigrún Júlíusdóttir, former professor at the University of Iceland and chair of the board of the Research Center for Child and Family Welfare, donated a large part of her library to LBS-HBS on June 14. This is a specialist collection in the field of social work and reflects the diverse subjects of the field. In addition, there is a selection of books by major authors in the field of social sciences. There is also a lot of recent and classic publications, both from the English-speaking world, but also Nordic material, especially with an Icelandic connection. And then Icelandic peripheral material (brochures, reports, etc.) that was not available in the library.
