In connection with the exhibition China-Iceland, Unnur Guðjónsdóttir presented the museum with three books about China. These are a copy of the book China – the Land of Adventure by Oddnýja Sen, signed by the author to the writer Kristmann Guðmundsson. Also a copy of the book Kynnisför til Kína by Jakob Straume, translated by Ólafur Ólafsson, and finally an exceptionally beautiful book about Chinese art; A Canon of Chinese Art.
