Today, Friday, October 2, on the second day of the Reykjavík Reading Festival, an open symposium will be held on the possible future of books in Icelandic in the digital world. The conference is a collaborative project of the Icelandic Writers' Association, the Icelandic Publishers' Association, Hagþenki, the National Library of Iceland, the City Library, the Centre for Icelandic Literature and Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature.
The conference will be held in the lecture hall of the National Museum of Iceland and will run from 1 pm to 5 pm. It is open to everyone and there is no admission fee.
