On Wednesday, May 18, Elisabet Björklund donated the collection of letters from her grandmother, Nanna Boëthius, to the manuscript collection of the National Library of Iceland. Nanna was Sigurður Nordal's first wife. Her collection of letters includes numerous letters from Sigurður, but also from Björga C. Þorláksson and Einar H. Kvaran. Lars Lönnroth, emeritus professor, recently wrote an article about Sigurður and Nanna's relationship in the journal Scripta Islandica (66/2015), which is available electronically .
