On Thursday, February 5th, from 12:00–13:00, the National and University Library of Iceland will offer students and staff of the University of Iceland a course in the bibliography program EndNote.
We will show you how to initialize sources in EndNote and retrieve them from databases such as leitir.is, Ebsco, ProQuest and Web of Science. We will also cover how to retrieve references (in-text as well as footnotes) directly from EndNote and how the program sets up a bibliography according to all major standards.
The EndNote software can be downloaded for free (with instructions) from Ugla under Computer Services – Software. It is a good idea to have EndNote installed before the course begins. Users are advised to contact the Icelandic Computing Center if they encounter any problems with the installation.
The teacher is Erlendur Már Antonsson, an information scientist at the National Library of Iceland-University Library.
