On Wednesday, November 26, LBS-HBS will be hosting a course in Endnote in collaboration with the School of Humanities Press. The course will be held in the National Library's lecture hall from 12-1 p.m.

It will be shown how to initialize sources in EndNote and retrieve from databases such as leitir.is, Ebsco, ProQuest and Web of Science.

In addition, we will discuss how to retrieve references (in-text as well as footnotes) directly from EndNote and how the program sets up a bibliography according to all major standards.

The EndNote software can be downloaded for free (along with instructions) from Ugla under Computer Services – Software. It is a good idea to have EndNote installed before the course begins, and users are advised to contact the Computing Center at Háskólatorg if they encounter any problems with the installation.
The teacher is Erlendur Már Antonsson, an information scientist at the National Library of Iceland–University Library.
