On May 13, 2019, the talk Changes in the publication of academic writings: developments in the Nordic countries was given in the lecture hall of the National Library of Iceland – University Library. The talk was about open access and was given by Nina Karlstrøm on behalf of NOH-HS . NOS-HS is a collaborative platform in the humanities and social sciences on behalf of research funding agencies in the Nordic countries. Nina Karlstrøm is head of the negotiating committee on open access in Norway, which recently concluded a so-called “ Publish & read agreement ” with the publishing giant Elsevier.
