Yesterday, on Iceland's National Day, the President of Iceland awarded fourteen Icelanders the Order of the Icelandic Falcon.
Rósa Björg Jónsdóttir, a library and information scientist and employee of the National and University Library of Iceland, was awarded the Knight's Cross for her volunteer work on behalf of Móðurmál , an organization for bilingualism, in cataloging and distributing children's books in languages other than Icelandic.
Colleagues sincerely congratulate Rósa Björga on her recognition.
