Data from the Sino-Icelandic Cultural Association handed over

Data from the Sino-Icelandic Cultural Association handed over

On Tuesday, March 28, the Sino-Icelandic Cultural Society handed over to the museum for safekeeping two meeting minutes from the society's archives. This is a book with meeting minutes from the beginning of its establishment on October 20, 1953 until the early 1980s. There is also a smaller book with several meeting minutes.

Arnþór Helgason, chairman of the company, and Kristján Jónsson, vice chairman, presented the company's documents.

Director Þórhallur Sigurðsson also handed over documents from the possession of his father, Sigurður Guðmundsson, the company's first vice-chairman. These are letters in English that the company wrote to Chinese institutions from the beginning until 1962. The company also plans to hand over computer files about the company's communications that have been created in recent years.
