In recent years, access to e-books for students and faculty at the University of Iceland has increased significantly. This is largely due to agreements that have been made at the initiative of the School of Humanities, as funding for the school from the Centenary Fund, which is provided to strengthen research infrastructure, has been used to open up access to large collections of e-books from many of the world's leading publishers. Agreements have been made with Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press and Francis&Taylor, among others.
On the occasion of these newly concluded agreements, the National Library of Iceland – University Library and the School of Humanities of the University of Iceland invite you to an open presentation in the lecture hall of the National Library, Friday, February 28, from 1-2 p.m.
Everyone welcome!
