    Now fewer and fewer people send Christmas cards and even fewer send New Year's cards. In the first half of the 20th century, about a century ago, there was a great boom in the making of Christmas and New Year's cards, and a selection of them has been displayed at the Icelandic Museum on the 1st floor of the National Library.
