On the occasion of Kristín Ómarsdóttir receiving the May Star Poetry Prize 2017, a small exhibition of her books has been set up in the museum, along with the award-winning book Kóngulær í sjællandgluggum . Kristín was born on September 24, 1962 in Reykjavík. She graduated from Flensborg in Hafnarfjörður.
