On the occasion of the move of the Icelandic Toy Museum to the National Library and the National Museum, a reception was held at the National Library on Friday, March 8, where the history of the Toy Museum was reviewed, how work on the collection is carried out today, and how people envision the next steps. Presentations were given by Ingibjörg Steinunn Sverrisdóttir, National Librarian, Margrét Hallgrímsdóttir and Lilja Árnadóttir from the National Museum of Iceland, Ólafur J. Engilbertsson, Marín Árnadóttir, Halldóra Kristinsdóttir, and Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir, Chairman of the Board of the Toy Museum.
