The Society for Eighteenth Century Studies is holding a symposium entitled Praise and Criticism of Iceland and Icelanders in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries in the National Library, Lecture Hall on the 2nd floor, Saturday, October 18, 2014.
The symposium begins at 1:30 p.m. and ends around 4:30 p.m.
Four talks will be given as follows:

The presentation of each talk takes about 20 minutes.
About 10 minutes will be given for questions and discussion after each presentation.
Refreshments will be available during the break in front of the lecture hall on the 2nd floor.
