The National Library of Iceland – University Library is participating in a survey of Icelanders' attitudes towards reading, libraries, the impact of Covid-19 on reading and more.
Reading continues to increase, especially the use of audiobooks, similar to what was found in a survey conducted last year. Covid-19 has affected the reading habits of the country, especially the use of audiobooks.
Those who use libraries the most are respondents with two or more children in their household. About half of the population uses library services.
A more detailed explanation of the survey results is available on the website of the Icelandic Literature Centre .
