On November 30th, on the occasion of the library's 18th anniversary, two new websites were officially launched: Historical Maps of Iceland and Translations of Icelandic Sagas. The former is actually the museum's oldest project in the field of digital reproduction and began in 1996 but has now been significantly modified with a new interface and new digital images of the maps found there. The website has the URL islandskort.is . The cataloguing of translations of Icelandic Sagas is a project that Ingibjörg Árnadóttir and Áslaug Agnarsdóttir began working on at the University of Iceland Library and is now being published for the first time with a web interface. The catalog can be viewed at the URL sagas.landsbokasafn.is .
