On Thursday, November 2, an exhibition about the set and costume designer Lothar Grund was opened at the museum. On the occasion of the day, a short program was offered in the museum's lecture hall. The National Librarian welcomed the guests and the Museum of Toy History's specialist, Sigríður Jónsdóttir, gave a short presentation about the concept and ideology of the exhibition. Finally, Brynjar Bragason said a few words on behalf of Lothar's family and his wife, Anna Halldórsdóttir. Two of their grandchildren came especially from Germany to attend the opening. The cultural representative of the German Embassy in Iceland, Sabine Friðfinnsson, and the German Ambassador to Iceland, Clarissa Duvigneau, are thanked for their collaboration with the exhibition.
