The Hagþenki award was presented on March 4 at the National Library at a ceremony, and the award went to Björk Ingimundardóttir for the publication Prestaköll, sökningir og provostsdämi á Íslandi I–II, published by the National Archives. The award committee's concluding remarks state about the publication: "A comprehensive reference work with maps that facilitates an overview of the country's history and will be useful in a variety of research over a long period of time. A historical masterpiece." The award was presented by the chairman of Hagþenki, Svanhildur Kr. Sverrisdóttir. Ragnheiður Ólafsdóttir performed music at the ceremony. On this occasion, a small exhibition has been set up in the National Library, where you can see, among other things, data from the National Archives that were used in compiling the publications; A reference book from the Eastfjords, a book about the church of Ness in Aðaldalur and a map of parishes in the West Landeyjar and part of Hvolhreppur in Rangárvallassýsla in 1767.
