Cambridge Books Online . Access to e-books from Cambridge and other well-known academic publishers. The books are in the fields of humanities and social sciences as well as physical sciences, technology and health sciences. Access ends on November 9th.

Handbook of Translation Studies . A wealth of information on translation and interpretation. A useful publication for scholars, students and teachers of translation studies, translators and those interested in language and linguistics. Access is available until the end of November.

The museum has also purchased access to and renewed subscriptions to the following databases, which can be found under Electronic Data on the museum's website.

Motif-Index of folk-literature, which is open on computers on the university network. This file is used, among other things, to analyze motifs in folk tales, myths, fables and fairy tales of world literature, including Icelandic ancient literature.

Palgrave Dictionary of Economics is a reference book with about 2000 articles on economics and business topics.
