The National Library's August collection is the first album that actor Róbert Arnfinnsson compiled about his remarkable life's work and is on display at the National Museum of Iceland. On the occasion of Róbert's 100th birthday on August 16, the Toy Museum received a very nice visit from Róbert's immediate family. The visit was attended by Stella Guðmundsdóttir, Róbert's widow, Alma Ch. Róbertsdóttir and Agla Bj. Róbertsdóttir, his daughters and their husbands, Þorlákur Hermannsson and Stefán Kristjánsson. Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir, former chairman of the board of the Toy Museum, was also present. The National Librarian and a specialist from the Toy Museum welcomed this beautiful group, who examined documents from Róbert's private archive (Lbs 476 NF and Lbs 2019/27), including a poster from his play trip with Zorba to Germany, his make-up bag, a scrapbook, and a fencing sword that he is believed to have received as a gift from Klemenzi Jónsson.
