    The story in oral history



    On Monday, a program will air on Channel 1, supervised by a master's student in history at the University of Iceland, called History in the Oral Record . The eight episodes will deal with human life and events in the past century. The material is obtained from interviews and accounts of individuals preserved in the audio recordings of the Center for Oral History. The episodes were produced under the supervision of Professor Guðmundur Jónsson and Arnþór Gunnarsson, project manager of the Center for Oral History.

    The first episode is titled Múlka and the Girls of Reykjavík and is directed by Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir. In the episode, Anna Klemensdóttir, known as Laufás in Reykjavík, tells about life in Reykjavík in the first decades of the 20th century, and the Russian adventurer girl Múlka who left her mark on town life in 1913.

    The episodes are on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. The authors and content are as follows:
