It has now been 60 years since Troels Bendtsen, Björn Björnsson and Þórir Baldursson began their career as the Savanna trio. They only worked for five years but sang their way into the hearts of the nation on television, on many albums and at countless gatherings, both at home and abroad. To mark this milestone, they donated their notebooks, sheet music, longspil, polyphony and a collection of letters and photos to the Icelandic Music Museum at the National Library, which is now on display in the museum's lobby. At the exhibition, you can browse through the trio's scrapbooks and listen to audio samples.
