Cataloging service

The National Library of Iceland is now taking on the task of cataloging the collection of smaller libraries with limited resources. This involves classification, cataloging and linking in Gegnir. Publications are also indexed upon request.

• Information on reference prices is available in the library's Fees. If there are many connections in a book shipment, the total price may be reduced. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• Projects that need to be completed in a specific short period of time are not accepted as this work is being done alongside other work in the museum.
• Up to 50 books are taken at a time.
