On March 14, an exhibition was opened at the National Library in collaboration with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Anniversary Committee of the Sovereignty Year on the occasion of the premiere of the oratorio Edda II: The Life of the Gods by Jón Leif on March 23. Árni Heimir Ingólfsson compiled the exhibition text and gave an address at the opening together with the National Library's curator. The exhibition includes sheet music manuscripts for the work, text sketches, letters and more related to the work and the life and work of Jón Leif, while all of Jón's manuscripts, letters and other documents are in the National Library's manuscript collection.
