    To contact the help desk:

We would especially like to encourage the use of electronic collections for source acquisition and draw attention to our electronic collection (databases, journals and books) on the website landsbokasafn.is . Do not hesitate to drop us a line if you need help with searches. Please note that sometimes students and staff of the University of Iceland need to use remote access ( VPN ) to access the databases and books outside the university campus.

We also remind you of the diverse information and instructions in the guidebook Áttavitinn and draw particular attention to the following guides:

Manuscript Museum, Icelandic Museum, Women's History Museum and Audio and Video Museum

Continuing information services by phone and email will be available at the Manuscript Museum, the Icelandic Museum, the Women's History Museum and the Audio and Video Museum.
