Website about the Red Sox Movement

In late 2018, representatives of the founders of the Red Sox Movement met and discussed the possibility of opening a special archive and information website in collaboration with the Women's History Museum and the National Library. At their meeting with the National Librarian, the Director of Preservation and the Director of the Women's History Museum on November 19 of the same year, the proposal was approved and the collaboration began. The website was officially launched on October 24, 2022. The project board representing the Red Sox included Auður Hildur Hákonardóttir, Dagný Kristjánsdóttir, Edda Óskarsdóttir, Elísabet Gunnarsdóttir, Gerður G. Óskarsdóttir, Guðrún Ágústsdóttir, Guðrún Hallgrímsdóttir, Helga Ólafsdóttir and Kristín Ástgeirsdóttir. The website is supported by the Equal Opportunities Fund, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Reykjavík City Human Rights Council, a visual media about the history of Reykjavík, and the Eðvarður Sigurðsson Memorial Fund.
