The Christmas meeting of the Icelandic Women's History Museum and the Icelandic Women's Rights Association is dedicated to the memory of Anna Sigurðardóttir and the association Úurnar.
The Icelandic Women's History Museum celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, having been founded by Anna Sigurðardóttir, who was an active member of the Women's Rights Society for many years. In the 1960s, Anna encouraged young girls to form a society of young women, who called themselves the Úurnar, and they became involved in the gender equality debate towards the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s.

3. Historian Þórunn María Örnólfsdóttir tells the story of Anna Sigurðardóttir's life and reflects on what shaped her as a feminist
- Director Ásdís Skúladóttir, journalist Gullveig Sæmundsdóttir, and literary scholar Silja Aðalsteinsdóttir talk about Úun
- Brynhildur Heiðar- og Ómarsdóttir, executive director of the Icelandic Women's Rights Association, ends the meeting.
