Edda II - The Lives of the Gods by Jón Leifs

Exhibition in the National Library

On March 14th, an exhibition was opened at the National Library in collaboration with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra on the program of the Centenary of Icelandic independence and sovereignty. On March 23rd the Iceland Symphony Orchestra wiill premiere the oratory  Edda II by Jón Leifs. Árni Heimir Ingólfsson compiled the exhibition text. The exhibition includes manuscripts connected to the work, sketches, letters and more material related to Jón Leifs´ life and work, but Jón's manuscripts, papers and other material are preserved at the National Library.

The exhibition closes January 14th 2019.
