Recall of material and fines

A reminder of a due date is normally sent by email. However, it is entirely the responsibility of the user to return that material on time. If material is returned after the due date, daily fines are collected, according to Fees. The National and University Library sends out a recall letter twice after the due date. If those letters are without success the material is sent for collection to Motus.

Responsibility

The library cards are issued to an individual and the owner of the card carries full responsibility of the material that he/she borrows. If an item is damaged or lost, the borrower must pay full value of the item.
