Commemorating that 250 years have passed since the scientific expedition to Iceland conducted by Joseph Banks (1743–1820) an exhibition has been opened in the National and University Library of Iceland in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs, University of Iceland, The Institute of History at the University of Iceland, the Icelandic Museum of Natural History and British Library.
