On 19 June 2017 there are 50 years since the Women’s House Hallveigarstaðir was inaugurated. The idea of the house was that it should be the centre for women´s groups in the country and their cultural and humanitarian acitvities. On that occasion a small exhibition has been set up in the library and the share certificates are the library´s highlight in June. The exhibition closed 15 August.
