The National and University Library of Iceland participates in the Government's initiative to offer all students who are between semesters and who are 18 years old or older, a temporary job in the summer of 2020. The library has seven jobs available. It is estimated that those who will be hired will start work as soon as possible and the employment period will be two months.

Applications for summer jobs were opened on 26 May and the deadline for applications is June 6.
