A group of Nordic bookbinders is visiting Iceland for the opening of the exhibition Nordic Nature, which is organized by the the JAM group, a group of Icelandic bookbinders and the Nordic Bookbinding Society in collaboration with the National and University Library of Iceland. The Technical College, Iðan Educational Center and Grafía - the graphical union of Iceland are also participating in the exhibition. The exhibition has been opened in the National Library and will be open until September 1. The idea behind this exhibition is to celebrate Nordic bookbinding and book art, to encourage Nordic authors to present their work and thereby promote the art of bookbinding and the craft of hand-bound books from the Nordic countries.
