The highlight of the month of August at the National and University library is the first album that actor Róbert Arnfinnsson put together about his remarkable life's work, and it is on display on the first floor. On the occasion of Róbert's 100th birthday on August 16, the Theatre Museum received a very nice visit from Róbert's immediate family. Stella Guðmundsdóttir, Róbert's widow, Alma Ch. Róbertsdóttir and Agla Bj. Róbertsdóttir his daughters and their husbands, Þorlákur Hermannsson and Stefán Kristjánsson visited the library. Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir, the former chairman of the board of the Theatre Museum also came. The National Librarian and the specialist of the Theatre Museum welcomed this distinguished group who examined examples from Róbert's private archive (Lbs 476 NF and Lbs 2019/27) including a poster from his trip to Germany with Zorba, his make-up case, a scrapbook and a sword believed to be his received as a gift from Klemenz Jónsson.
